Tesla has positioned the Juniper update as either a 2025 or 2026 model year depending on market, with the U.S. receiving it as a 2026 model from March 2025.[3][5]
The updated Model Y Juniper features significant design and technology upgrades, including a full-width light bar, enhanced interior materials, new ambient lighting options, and improved ride quality. Range improvements are also part of the refresh, with the Long Range variant now capable of 447 miles according to official figures.[1][2][5]
Pre-orders are open on Tesla’s website, and the starting prices for the new variants are notably higher than the outgoing Model Y.[1][5]
